Company founder Alvan B. Blanch, farmer, agricultural contractor and self-taught engineer, develops his first grain drier.

Alvan Blanch Development Co. Ltd is founded to focus on ‘development’ of innovative products to meet the new challenges in agriculture.

A new factory is built.

The Royal Warrant is awarded, as suppliers of
grain driers to HM the Queen.

for International Trade.

As result of the continuous investment plan more than 120 driers were manufactured during a single year.

The company receives the 3rd Queens Awards for Enterprise in the ‘International Trade – Outstanding Achievement’ category.

The continuous investment plan has achieved in 10 years over £10 million investment expanding facilities, introducing the latest technology in production and energy efficiency.
