New Amada Fully Automated Feeder Investment Boost Productivity

Further automation of production facilities at Alvan Blanch

The latest phase of our substantial and progressive manufacturing investment programme has just been commissioned.

A new fully automated ‘tower’ material load and unload system has been installed to work in conjunction with our high-speed laser that is used mainly for cutting steel sheet and plate.

With a value of over £300,000, this feeder enables the laser to operate unattended all night and thus allows us to increase productivity whilst reducing lead-time and cutting costs; vital objectives as we strive to continue to expand our global reach in a highly competitive market sector.
